Florence Martin

Florence is doing a Master’s degree in engineering sciences, specializing in forest and natural area management at Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech University, in Belgium.

She is currently finishing her first year of master’s degree in bioengineering, where her main topics are Biodiversity and management of natural areas. To complete her education, she is currently doing an internship at the Icelandic Seal Center. During her Bachelor of Science, Florence learned bases of sciences like Mathematics, Physics and Biology. Since she is specializing in forest and natural area management for her Master’s degree, she has also taken more specific courses like landscape ecology concepts, forest species and bioclimatology. The internship at the Icelandic Seal Center gives her the opportunity to study populations of seals and improve her knowledge of biodiversity.
