Hi! My name is Nicola. I come from Belgium and I am finishing a master’s degree in biology of organisms and ecology at UCLouvain (Belgium). I’ve started an internship at the Icelandic Seal Center focusing on the conservation of Icelandic seal populations. My main project involves evaluating the environmental and anthropogenic factors that might affect the behaviour and spatial distribution of the harbour seal. Additionally, I will be monitoring the abundance of harbour and grey seals with the research team.
