Polina completed bachelor’s degree in Geoecology and natural resources management at Moscow State Geological Prospecting University in 2018 and defended her thesis: “Impact assessment of the Kumzhinsky Gas-Condensate Field accident on soil condition located at Nenetsky Reserve”. She worked as a ranger at “Nenetsky” Reserve in the North of Russia. Currently she is doing her master’s degree in Environment and natural resources at Háskoli Íslands and writing her thesis: “Observation of haul-out behavior of the Icelandic harbor seal (Phoca vitulina) population using automatic trails cameras in Vatnsnes, NW Iceland”.
